You're comparing a $40/yr subscription based app to an app that seemingly costs a dollar for lifetime use (assuming they don't switch pay models).
Not saying you're wrong but I feel like it makes more sense to pull the trigger on this and see if you need more.
I mean I tried to make it as clear as possible, that my comment's specifically for med students who are considering purchasing it. I bought it prior to school b/c I saw it posted on SD (IIRC it was a $10 sale) thinking it would do the job and I found it incredibly frustrating for med school anatomy
It might be great for other people, but I can't comment on that. I was just sharing my perspective as someone who used both for med school. For reference medical education 3rd party resources are incredibly high -- $40/yr is honestly a really fair deal. My question bank was $600/yr, the popular Micro & Pharm resource is $400/yr, etc.
Well worth the money, and they don't to bait and switch by switching to a new app every year, instead they update the original app. $0.99 is a steal for this app.

If you're a 1st yr Med Student I recommend just shelling out the $40 for 1 yr of Complete Anatomy. Infinitely better, works great on Apple Silicon Mac's, iPad and iPhone. Used it a lot for MSK and Neuro. Used it a lot less for Cardio, Pulm, GI/GU though. Also highly recommend Aclands Video Atlas for lab (cadaver) purposes and NotedAnatomist, on YouTube, for didactic purposes.

If you're a 1st yr Med Student and thought "I'm gonna save some bucks and just use a $1 app instead" RAISE YOUR HAND!!!

If you're a 1st yr Med Student and opted for this, I recommend Operation. That's all you need.

That and 1) most of us aren't or never will be, Med Students, and 2) most of us ostensibly lack a foundation of medical terminology. As a layman and sometimes as a patient, I am exposed to some medical terminology, but am still unaware of 90% of it.
