If you're a 1st yr Med Student I recommend just shelling out the $40 for 1 yr of Complete Anatomy. Infinitely better, works great on Apple Silicon Mac's, iPad and iPhone. Used it a lot for MSK and Neuro. Used it a lot less for Cardio, Pulm, GI/GU though. Also highly recommend Aclands Video Atlas for lab (cadaver) purposes and NotedAnatomist, on YouTube, for didactic purposes.

For reference medical education 3rd party resources are incredibly high -- $40/yr is honestly a really fair deal. My question bank was $600/yr, the popular Micro & Pharm resource is $400/yr, etc.

App Store shows 'In-App Purchases' next to $0.99. Does it mean some content is available for extra money?

Never mind. Didn't read details. In-App Purchases are $0.99 for Patient Education Animations (90+ patient education animations)

C'mon people! it's a frigging DOLLAR. I used it to become an RN and I thought it was amazing. I used *both* this app *and* an anatomy book. I even used screen shots of the app to make my own Quizlet. Though it's much better on a tablet because of the screen size. it's pretty resource intensive, so you can't use it on a crappy, old device.

If you're in school to become a clinician, get the stupid app. I promise you'll get *at least* $1 worth of value. I can't believe anyone would even have anything negative to say about an app that's a dollar.

No issue installing on my Samsung tablet. It was less than 600mb but it never asked for payment. I had bought one couple of years back on another device but not on this one.

Complete side note: It's absolutely insane that Sketchy is so expensive, but once you get the images stuck in your head they will never leave. Still recall and use the mind maps in my head on a near daily basis. haha

Bought this app in medical school 8 years ago. It's great - probably the best 3D anatomy model available. A "no-brainer" at $1.
