Looks like this uses pouch cells instead of prismatic cells. Just something to be aware of.

The spec looks very nice: 1228WH, remote app control, lifepo4 battery and cost less than 300$!

Also, no tax for CA! Only issue is that I never heard this company before and it could go bankrupt after a while (like the golabs) and then nobody would really honor the warranty.

Any way, I decided to give it a try.

This is the best LiFePO4 battery deal ATM. I have been tracking it prices for the last couples months. I have one myself and I am happy with it.

Great price too bad the charging capability is so shitty.
Nice if you just need one in emergency but really bad as a solar power station.
It will only take in 12v-24v at 120w max so with a normal 18v panel, you're really only getting like 80w.
That's a deal killer right there,

Yeah, but, like what superslickz said, what about the removal of the reviews? This seems like a good deal, but not if it ends up being a brick because it doesn't work and they won't honor the warranty.

I've been running this thing for about a year without any issues. Obviously the charging is slow. From dead your talking 11 hours to full but for the Wh you're getting i dont see anything close unless you build one. As far as the warranty goes, anyone buying this direct from china stuff you just have to accept the risks. If you want a good warranty buy something for double the price. To me it was worth the roll of the dice and it performs as expected. The amount of stuff i have bought from Aliexpress over the years without any issues, i dont see whats different

They removed the item, not the reviews from the item. The Google snippet that can be seen before you click on it has had a decent review score around 4/5. It's not uncommon for this to happen with many of the Chinese companies/brands on Amazon. They are constantly rebranding or multiple branding the same product. Items you bought last year and try to rebuy are no longer there, etc.

Buy with a credit card which provides extended warranty and I guess in case jupitek doesn't honor the warranty, the credit card company will refund you?
