Can anyone speak to the comparison of this vs. the one at Target (KSM55) for 279.99? Besides the obvious differences (e.g. capacity, lift vs. tilt head, etc.) Thank you!

i feel like the "restored" (manufacturer refurbed but basically brand new just in a plain box) 6qt pro 600 series for $10 less is a better deal https://www.walmart.com/ip/Restor.../718630074

the lift head is "supposedly" heavier duty than the tilt head. I prefer the tilt head, my buddy has the lift one and it is like 10x louder and doesn't do anything mine can't do. Loudness is due to the digital motor and metal gears.

It's now $30 less, but reviews for it on kitchenaids website is flooded with people reporting that they're not repaired and very noisy etc

Think I'm gonna go with the colorful little guy..

I was hoping someone more knowledgeable would chime in, but my family got one like this a few years ago and I have no complaints. We switched from a cheap hand mixer though, so don't really have anything to compare it to. We started making gingerbread houses each year and I'm impressed with how well it does with that hard dough. Nothing I had before could have mixed it.
