Great camera - especially at this price point including the 24-50 lens.

B&H has it too. Not a great lens but good enough for a starter or you could sell it. Cheaper than buying it without the lens.

Pretty good entry level camera, BUT:
1. The kit lens is garbage
2. Canon doesn't have a big selection of native RF lenses yet and they don't open their mount to 3 party manufacturers. So any current lens selection would be expensive and limited.

I think they did open it to other manufactures now. However, they will only allow models they don't intend on making. Unclear if any other companies have attempted to clear any models with Cannon since they opened it up. I hope the Sigma 14mm f/1.4 will be a thing but I don't know that it will.

Huge mistake by Canon. Sony will eat their lunch and one of the reasons is because they mount is open to the 3rd parties.

I paid $1100 for my R6, is it worth replacing it with the R8? Losing IBIS, smaller battery, single SD, I get it, but is there a noticeable performance boost?
