I'm not sure where you are seeing that. The specification manual on Amazon does say 300cd aka 300 nits.

I'll also point out that it has a 1800R curvature and if you want the highest refresh rate, use a DisplayPort cable and NOT an HDMI cable.

This reviewer says its 265-315 nits (higher range in HDR) using a device to test the actual nits from the monitor claims dell's competing VA model is 500+ nits. lol
