Have this case, it doesn't fit arctic cooling 280mm very well. Its too thick for the top and in front you can't use two of the screw holes. Other than that I like the case and this is a good deal.
Please also note that you can purchase the airflow front panel separately from Corsair for $14.99. This still makes it way cheaper than the usual price of $99.99 and the all-time low of $98.99 per the 3 camels.
I don't own the 5000D, but I do own the airflow versions of the 4000D and 7000D and would definitely recommend all of them. FWIW, the 5000D fixes many of my complaints with the 4000D. I have zero complaints with the 7000D. This case is more similar to the 7000D.
I do feel the airflow panel is a near must. But with it installed on the 7000D and a case full of ML140s, it does a phenomenal job of keeping a 3090TI and 13700K cool. I've never seen an 80 from either part (not even hotspot temps), and I just got done binging Forza Motorsport for 7 hours at the absolute highest ultra settings at 3440x1440 on launch day. So yes, I definitely recommend it's smaller brother the 5000D.
