126 for a 4tb drive seems pretty dang good.

Now i've never heard of this brand, reviews seem pretty good, and having 5yr warranty and 2800 TBW endurance is pretty dang good. Might jump on a pair of them for my media server cache drives

hadn't really seen anything about this, but if an ssd comes with a (removable) heatsink, would it not be recommended for laptop use? i'm guessing no (since laptops seem to have the thermal pads to dissipate heat through the base), so i guess a better question would be, is that adequate for most ssds that come with a heatsink, or is it just trial and error

Would be fine for something uncritical like PS5 storage or a PC game installation drive.

If the capacity is true, it's quite a deal for a PS5 drive. There are posters that will inevitably claim it's below the recommendation of 5500 read (vs 5000), but know that has not actually been shown to be an issue, at least not so far.

Also I have read memory producers are trying to claim they have adjusted production to control for future SSD price drops, possibly meaning price drops could level out or even increase. But based on who is saying that, it may not be true, and based on economic predictions, they still will likely drop if spending continues to decrease, but I wanted to share anyways.

I think this drive, if it is what's being advertised, will be a good buy (for a ps5) even after Black Friday comes around. If you are looking for a computer drive that will see lots of writes, you may want to wait for a deal on a Samsung or WD nvme.

valid point. i'd have to look into the company a bit more before pulling the trigger.

I never hold anything unreplaceable on my cache drive only replaceable media, everything else is on a dual parity array with an offsite backup.

Depends on the use case, if I were going to throw 12 into the Flashstor NAS, I'd want reliability over value because data integrity in that scenario is priceless.

If you just wanted a large game drive, it's worth gambling on reliability.

Fanxiang in china market is quite famous for affordable ssd.
S660 is their budget line. Some reviews says it's a rebrand p3 plus using Micron 176L QLC w/ Phison E21 controller. https://imgur.com/a/9wB6rhG
But I also see other picture shows IG5220/MAP1602+ YMTC 128L TLC. Maybe different market use different solutions?
s880 is their high-end line and I am pretty sure it uses MAP1602A+YMTC 232L TLC. I bought the 2tb version from amazon and works good so far. endurance speed is impressive even it's dramless
