Can anyone get the 20% trade in working? Seems like they want to receive the item to get the 20% off and previously they just gave the 20% off immediately and were ok waiting on the trade in.

I went through the process and on the last page it said 20% would be applied immediately. I didn't go through with it, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. For me, anyway.

This deal hasn't gotten any love. Is there a better deal I'm not tracking? Still tempted to get, but I'm not in a hurry.

I can see that being a much better deal than this, at only $10 more (16GB). And 20% trade-in would close the deal gap another $2.

Looks like I'll hold off, as I don't hear great things of Kids+.

Funny because I ordered the kids version yesterday, saw this deal and went with this (cancelled other order). I don't need the extra 8gbs so this sounds good to me.

Amazon charges $25 for this same warranty

Unless someone has to read since their Kindle broke or needs a gift, it would be dumb to buy a month from Black Friday

Also this is $95 with the AD supported version meaning I have to contact Amazon and hope someone will remove the ads or pay $25 more

I got the Kindle Paperwhite Signature addition bundle with case and wireless charging stand. I chose my existing Paperwhite for a trade-in and got 20% off and a $30 gift card applied automatically and immediately towards my new order. So it was 237.97 - 44 (deal of the day) - 47.59 (Kindle trade-in) - 30 (gift card) = 116.38 + tax. I'll get the new Kindle on Friday and have until 11/25 to ship my trade-in.

The 20% trade promo wasn't applying immediately, so I called and was told they will apply the 20% once the trade-in is verified...but I have to call in to initiate the refund.
