Looks like a lateral move compared the previous deal for 20xx all in.

They took away free install and trade in a POS for $100 off.

Would people still wait for Black Friday to get a better discount? I ordered from Costco for 2499 pre-tax. Wondering if I should order directly from Samsung now since the price has dropped a lot

Just did it. I have an account on workingadvantage (google how to get one for free), and in their electronics section [workingadvantage.com] clicked a link that led to Samsung's site. On the site, it showed that I came from workingadvantage in the header and the price was already $2,159.99. Then I created a Samsung account and started chatting with an agent. They asked for a couple of screenshots to confirm that I saw $2,159.99 in the cart, then offered me an extended warranty, I refused and they gave me 10%, making it the desired $1,943.99 pre-tax.

Almost bought this but after some research not a fan that this does not support DTS. I have some media that is DTS, no wonder this is cheaper as they don't want to pay royalties for DTS and DV. Hope the LG C3 77" goes around this price around BF.

Try another sales associate. Ask if there are any discounts or promotions available

Thanks. How bad is the lack of Dolby vision? I am coming from a 2016 Vizio so I'm sure this tv will be a huge leap regardless, but wondering if the lack of DV will be a pain. I watch mostly Netflix , Vudu, and downloaded movies, and it seems like everything is DV.
Just get the new apple tv 4k Amazon and apple have tons of hdr10+ content

It's cheaper because Samsung doesn't market this as a flagship tv...less number of tvs to sell means a lower price and volume to make profit.

Please, for your sanity, check reddit for issues regarding the S95b/s90c. There nearly identical, build quality, user interface, customer service are all very very lacking.

I'm on panel 3, mother board 2, been down over 3 months in 10 months of ownership.
This isn't a problem for anyone who isn't constantly moving the TV around. If you plan on lifting the TV and moving it alot don't get it. If it's gonna stay in the same place its a non issue

Can you expand on this please? I will be getting an articulating mount for this TV so that it can be watched from two angles. Is it going to cause any issues?

Per rtings.
The TV has excellent build quality. The materials used feel premium, and while there's some flex on the component housing on the back, the panel itself is made of metal and is resistant to flexing. There's some wobble on the stand when the TV is pushed forward or backward, but it quickly settles. The two bottom corners of the screen are very slightly bowed back; it's extremely subtle, and you won't notice it unless you're looking for it. It was also a problem on the Samsung S95B OLED, which can worsen if you lift the TV repeatedly. Unfortunately, the display shows fingerprints easily; they can be difficult to remove.

As for the fingerprint issue you need to buy something like this otherwise the TV is left with streaks and smudges with a normal microfiber cloth. TV is wall mounted, never moved, nothing bumps into is as i have a recessed media box, and Only use it for around 2 hours a day.

The repair guy laughed when he arrived at my house, said he regularly repairs samsungs more than others, more specifically OLED samsung.

Out of the box the panel was bent with a cluster of dead pixels, exchanged.
Next one was good, died in less than a month. Panel was replaced.
2 months later, motherboard failed. Replaced.
A month later, panel failed. Took a month to get repaired as the panel had to be freighted to my house and scheduled upon arrival.
2 months ago panel failed again, the hired a company 5 states away, couldnt get the panel, and eventually has another tech come and replace. Working fine now.

QC is junk, parts are under sized for product, customer service is horrible and slow, and it seems like they know it.

Overall a TV I paid 900 dollars for, has cost samsung over 5200 dollars (1500 for the return, 1100/panel, 400/MB) According to the repair techs who have the repair tickets.
