Mobo doesn't have great reviews. It's also narrower than standard ATX to pinch a few pennies. Which means the right edge of your board will be unsupported in the case.
not bard, but i personally would wait for thxgiving deal. by that time, 14th gen would be out, 13th gen would be hella cheap
if you are building a computer from scratch, this is an awesome deal as i dont see it getting much more cheaper. break down the parts for example. 32gb ddr5 = 70-80 dollars. motherboard 170$ and cpu $250 around black friday time? i highly doubt a 13700k will be 250. i can see the 13600k hitting 250 but not the 13700k.

I stared at this deal all day long and considered pulling the trigger. I figure it's only a $50 drop from previous and I may get lucky on Blk Friday…

Too expensive. With 14th gen releasing next week, this combo would have been nice at $399

you can return the ram for probably $115 based on my previous bundle, and you should. The ram is garbage samsung die. I replaced mine with sk hynix which is more stable and OCs much better. the mobo is also shortened and doesn't have the last row of screw posts to support the 24pin power plug which just feels cheap when you have to support the board with your hand to plug it in all to save 10mm of PCB.

Still a good deal. 14th gen isn't out yet and 12th gen is still selling a worse combo.

My son is still trying to build a gaming PC. He has a decent graphics card. If I buy this for him, what else will he need to buy? Case?

Does this MB support multiple NVMe drives?

Potentially a case, power supply, cpu chiller, case fans and storage depending on what you pull from the machine that currently has the gpu in it.

It's a Dell i5 10th gen. So just the GPU and would try to sell the old system. Only has a single NVMe (system drive 256GB) so would not swap that over so that I can sell the old one. If I get $200 for the old one I would be happy. That'll just about cover a case and power supply for the new one. laugh out loud

The ram in these bundles are generally the cheap, unstable models. I had issues with another bundle, and i couldn't get the ram to hold its overclock profile without constant errors. If you do get this bundle, make sure you run the ram through some stress testing with TM5 with a custom profile, or something similar, and if it starts throwing errors, send it back.
