Excellent find. That one for 4$ extra is much better because it has the lithium battery which lasts much longer than the Nimh one from OP

those are very high quality. not like sonicare. sonicare 4100 is a joke.

I'm still using the Oral-B 5000 I got from one of the Walgreens clearance deals back in like 2010 or so, still works great. Just ordered a replacement battery a couple weeks ago, but tempted to just buy one of these instead so I don't have to take it apart.

You get what you pay for with this, it has a NiMH battery. Worth waiting for one with a Lithium, will last much longer. After a year the toothbrush is fine with a full charge, if i take it for a weekend by my 3rd use you can tell its a less powerful brush.

I used the $15 credit I got from trying the Amazon Photo service, the $20.00 coupon on the page, and $10.00 coupon from Discover by using $0.01 of my cashback bonus on this purchase laugh out loud. Came out to a grand total of $38.00. You should post this deal, IMO. I think it could go FP too.

I use a Sonicare, and my dentist always says my teeth "look perfect". His words, not mine. And he doesn't say that to someone else I know that goes there. I checked if he was just being polite.

Point is: if you need a new toothbrush then fine. But it's not very slick to buy something you don't need, and if you own a good Sonicare you don't need this.

Great toothbrush. Wife, a dentist, got it for me 10 years ago. FYI used generic replacement heads, which didn't fit tightly. Wore down the tip, now all heads, generic or not, want to slide.

False.

My toothbrush is NiNH and it was going strong until 2 months ago, it still works very well but when the timer makes the brush pulse, it doesn't have the same oomph in the pulsing.

I bought it in October 2006.

My wife and I both need new ones. Thinking about getting the IO 5 two pack from Costco. It seems the IO heads do clean better than the regular Oral B heads. Anyone care to comment?
