I don't use harsh sponges/pads on them, dont scrape utensils on them, only use wooden and silicone utensils when stiring, never cook on max heat yet somehow they get stained (usually sautéing bell peppers, garlic, etc) though that doesn't mess up the nonstick though invariably after a few years, eggs will stick.
