Note that this is a splice-board style; meaning, the desktop comes in two pieces that are put together, so there is a seam down the middle.

For some, that is totally fine and worth the lower price point. For others who would be annoyed with the seam, there are one-piece (whole piece) desktop options, but they're a little pricier.

None of the reviews mention anything outside of Amazon's return window. They have the generic "contact the manufacture for warranty info" on the warranty information. I have some off brand desk that the motor is seizing and I have to pay for the motor to go to a Chinese address and wait for them to send a new one "after review of my product". So a lot of the desks are disposable after Amazon's return window.

Are all the motors proprietary or can you buy one on open market to replace?

Bought the 63 x 28 in Espresso color for $80
Bought the 3 year warranty for $19
Total with tax came to $105.55

Hopefully Asurion 3 year warranty will cover the motor replacement
