LG OLED naming conventions are one of the easiest to understand.

It's a circle-jerk. Each year, in the early summer, LG will retail their latest and greatest TV with incremental changes. The big deal hunters will then go backwards and hope and pray they can get last year's model for cheap. They'll THEN see these threads and basically encourage everyone to do the same. It breeds more people waiting until April-June for the "best" deals. All the while, folks miss out on enjoyment of these TVs, as an OLED is truly beautiful.

This model will likely drop to about $1500 come May. If you aren't in the market, wait until May. That's the perfect sweet spot. For example, I got a 77'' G2 this year for $2600. I dare someone to act like that wasn't a slick deal. Just last month my local Sams had a 83'' C2 for $2000 in box. If I didn't get the G2, I'd gotten that. Both were VERY limited deals, to note.

I'm now though a person who hops into these threads just to alert folks that man...if you don't want the stress of hoping for a TV deal, take the "normal" sale and keep it moving.

Until it craps out like a year in. I went with lg after my samsung died and couldn't be happier. Warranty is absolutely essential with samsung as it's a very common thing for them nowadays

I'm holding out for $1500 - $1700

The fact that its MSRP is $3300 is laughable. Currently at $2000 on a huge "sale." Shows you how much they mark it up.

Hmmm this one or the Samsung S90c????
S90C no question. Now c3 vs s90c is a little more equal and depends how much you need Dolby vision etc.

Be warned, costco warranty doesn't cover burn-in.

There are so many burn in protection measures these TVs have now a days you'd have to actively TRY to get it to burn in. They are almost idiot proof if you take all of 10min to set up your $2000 TV up properly.

What's your viewing distance, does the room you are setting it up in get a lot of natural light, what kind of content would you be using the tv for (Normal television, Movies, sports, streaming, video games, pc use, etc.)?

I'm sure that Samsung is world's better even though it uses an LG screen. 🙄
Only for the 83", everything smaller uses their screens.

Realistically, how lower could this go in the next couple of months?
I haven't followed TV price trends in the past…

Living room setup
Would like to use it mostly for movies and some gaming
Not much natural light unless we open the window blinds but it is well lit

Where are all these B3 coming from? Didn't LG come out with them 5 or 6 years ago? Is Apple still manufacturing the iphone 8? No. Because its illegal (or at least it should be). Change my mind. LG CEO Koo Kwang-mo should be given probation. Let him pick up trash on the side of the road for a couple of months and reflect on his behavior. If I'm on the jury he's done.
B3 is brand new for 2023…

BB.com shows the same price. Click on this and choose 77 size. No extra insurance though https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-6...mpid=10451
