So, I ignored the warnings people posted last time that it would come damaged, and returns would be a nightmare and... I'm paying for it.
It came in an undamaged box, yet somehow there was a golfball sized dent in the side of the door (very visible), and the door doesn't seal properly, so it immediately builds up a ton of ice along the top.
I called Walmart to get a return going, and they told me no problem, I'd get an email with information from their third party parcel service to pick it up, and the good news is I don't even need the box.
Well, a week went by, no word. I called back and they said oops, they'll be in touch in a day or two. Another week, and the next person says no problem, but I need to have the box... so he "escalated it" based on what the previous person told me, and said I would hear within 24 hours. No word.
Most recently, today, a month later, I spoke to someone who confirmed (again) they can get a pickup without the box, and I'll get a shipping label within 48 hours. Stay tuned, folks...
Unless you have a vehicle that can hold this to return it to a nearby Walmart, I'd steer clear.
Is this garage ready? Can't seems to find that in the description
It's garage ready and more. The corner has been bumped before it's packed and shipped. I got it today. The package has no damage but after it's unwrapped, one of the corners on top was bumped like many reviews said.
