You don't know that unless you actually survey them all. Every one has different use case. It is what it is.
FirstNet is unfortunately a PITA. We have a line too, want it's supposed to give you better access, but ends up giving you more pain than gain.
Currently, grappling with an issue where the phone is constantly showing as roaming on FirstNet, instead of organic connectivity. With roaming connectivity, we have to enable data roaming and all sorts of settings in apps to allow data on roaming. It opens the phone up to unintended actual roaming charges when we travel internationally.
Coverage wise we don't really have an issue. Our T-Mobile family members have constant dropped calls though.
Well, that's a bummer. Most of my family is on T-Mobile with zero issues, period. My FIL drives back east a couple times a year and his streaming music works the entire time. The S23 was a pragmatic one, as I traded a dead S21 for $800 off a new S23 Ultra. But I really don't like the Samsung "shadow" they throw on android, it's almost as bad as using an iPhone at work. Ive never owned an iPhone and never will, they're terrible. Hate when I have to use iPhones and iPads at work, they're so backwards from Android. Anyways, wife got the S23 ultra and traded her S22+ towards the pixel during Google 25th anniversary sale, to only pay about $250 out of pocket for the pixel. I had this phone before and loved it, my dad's S21 died the day we switched carriers, so I gave him my phone, and he gave me the dead phone that I traded in.
Anyways, the pixel is the top modern android phone that is rootable. At this point, my sole reason for doing so is to be able to run viper4android audio processing which is head and shoulders over any eq or sound enhancing app. As an audiophile, it lets me get closer to how the audio SHOULD sound while still being limited to the dynamic range contained within the Bluetooth audio codec. Especially when you are streaming lossless flac audio from the cloud. Gives YouTube music a huge kick in the pants too.
But as far as the phone experience, the pixel gives you everything you need and nothing you don't, which also really helps battery life. Unlocked pixels bought straight from Google can be rooted out of the box, they're fantastic phones. And coming from Samsung's flagship, the only thing that particular phone does better is the crazy ass zoom. But the pixel 7 pro has 10x optical zoom, and the post processing done by Google is much better than what Samsung can do.

Gotcha.
I know pixels and been with them from their Nexus days all the way thru to pixel 5 or 6. I used to be into root, but life happened and now I want an easy experience, over having to invest time into rooting.
But what really put me off pixels is Google's Apple-like approach on cutting edge hardware and holding back their amazing devices.
Not having wireless charging and/or NFC in a pixel back in the day royally pissed me off, when Samsung had it for at least 2 years.
Google has been late to the game in introducing cutting edge hardware. Camera is definitely another reason I moved. It's nigh impossible to move from Samsung now, despite the awful OneUI.
Hence my question, and I get why you wanted pixel more. Sorry got off topic much here.

Yeah, I still have my 4a 5G, no wireless charging.
Why? Root and everything I said about the pixel experience vs Samsung. To be fair, I have a Samsung watch classic 6 and 2 galaxy tab tablets, wife and kids all have Samsung tablets and phones, so I'm not saying their products are bad. But for my daily experience, especially driving in the car, I need my music to sound a certain way, and the "plain" sound from a Samsung just doesn't cut it. When I had my Note 4, I was able to do everything that I currently do with the pixel and that was great. But since they moved to locked bootloaders, they no longer do what I need them to do. I guarantee if you took a ride on my car and heard how the music sounds coming processed off the pixel you'd be like "I get it now..". Yeah, it's a little extra work to root but it I can honestly skip until the feature drop every 4 months if I'm feeling lazy.
You can say this about practically any provider. It's all where you live. I got horrible coverage with AT&T so I switched to T-Mobile and saved $15 a month plus better coverage and better plan options.

How's the rooting scene with secure apps now? That was a pain point.
Also what's the car and the speakers system? That should make a big difference too, no?

If you do indeed have issues with att, I suggest you go into a store and have your phone settings and SIM card updated.
What phone are you using BTW?
Guess what? There is in my universe.
Shut up, Eric! Lol. J/K. Love the show, so couldn't resist.
Maybe I don't know as much as I think I do. I have had and continue to struggle with a couple of family members on T-Mobile, every darn day of my life. Att, while no charm, is very consistent and has worked for nearly 15+ years for the rest of my family.
Four T-Mobile plans are affected:
One
Simple Choice
Magenta
Magenta 55 Plus

With magisk hide/zygote, you can add most secure apps to the ignore list and they work just fine. I'm having a slight issue still with Google pay, but it's not a deal breaker. I use shelter to run all my work apps in a work profile, and Ive had no issues.
I have a 2019 Camry with stock based audio, and honestly it sounds fantastic. All the speaker upgrades and amps added have no effect on the signal you are feeding them. It's all about your source audio.
