Just had a chat with a rep and my " Magenta 55+ " isn't changing.
I don't trust T-Mobile so took the screenshots for record as she said my bill won't go up.

Update:
Second rep said to successfully opt me out but refused to give credit of 10 bucks for two lines which I eventually got after showing some fight but seriously guys don't trust T-Mobile reps and always take screenshots.
Two different reps two completely different information, first said my magenta 55+ was not migrating and the second said it was.

I did the same though the rep gave me some excuse about why I couldn't getting the credit -- i dont really care I just want my existing plan.

I plan to re-confirm it after Oct 17.

Same confused to what opting out means? Will I keep my same plan or be downgraded to a different one for the same price.

Just got a call after my online chat requesting not to be migrated. T-mobile confirmed my account would not migrate and I would be given a one time credit for my trouble.

I really dont get why they are doing this, asking us to opt out and then give us a credit for opting out? How is T-Mobile benefiting ?

The credit has got to be some concession they have to make to legally pull this crap

I don't care what you call the plan, but if my price goes up or I lose features, I'm opting out.

I thought the promise is to never raise prices. You were locked in for life. Is that not true?

Why are they changing Simple Choice to either Magenta or Essentials Select, and changing Magenta or One to Go5G? Does this make sense to change some plans to Magenta when they are changing Magenta to a newer plan?

Probably so they can continue to fund garbage ad campaigns with those farking losers Zach Braff and Donald Faison, not to mention John Travolta and Patrick Mahomes

For those called or chatted to opt out of the migration, check your account history page and do you see pending changes scheduled on October 17 saying "pending plan or service changes scheduled on October 17 for multiple lines"?

T-Mobile will be forcibly "upgrading" existing grandfathered plans to more expensive versions on October 17th. Users CAN OPT-OUT, and possibly revert if action is taken before, or shortly after that date. YOU MUST CALL THEM TO DO THIS. 1-800-TMOBILE
