I'm on Simple Choice NA plan. I chatted with T-mobile to opt out and this is the response i got:

"Hello and thanks for taking time out of your day to reach out to us again in Social Media Care as well as making us your go to channel with all things T-Mobile!

I understand your concerns, and we always want to ensure that you have full control over your T-Mobile account and rate plan. The migration campaign hasn't started just yet, however after taking a closer look at your account, I can confirm that account is safe from the rate plan migration change!

This means that no system generated changes will be made to your account, and no action (opt-out, or credit) is required to keep your plan as it currently is. Thank you for reaching out and taking time out of your day to ensure your account is not impacted with this latest change."
I'm on Simple Choice NA Family Match plan, I was able to add the opt-out code fine and it's showing on my account. Not taking any risk, even if you add it & your plan is exempt from from migration, it doesn't hurt to have the code, just in case

I have the same thing, and the date and time correspond with when I chatted with them via the app.

May I ask which AT&T plan is cheaper than T-Mobile?
Lol none. ATT and Verizon still charge "device connection fees" per device, up to$20/mo per smartphone

I am on the One plan (FRLTUL2LP) with 2 lines plus one free for $80 after kick backs (or $64 if data usage is under 2GB which is what I am practically paying every month). If the price goes up $5/paid line, wouldn't it make more sense to just migrate it to the Go 5G and have unlimited data for $90 with ability to upgrade the phones? Or am I missing something here?

I think the idea is consumers have to decide what is best for their own situation, instead of forcing down conversion to all with specific legacy plans.

I am thinking the same. I have SC NA 6 lines and 1 watch. Watch and 2 lines are free so $180 to migrate to Magenta, where I get Netflix. So really about $10 more/months to get rid of future increases in taxes and fees. Only thing is will TMO force us to migrate again in the future
I chatted with Tmo. First I forgot that netflix is only for 2+ lines so I don't get that. Also they told me the cost per month would be $65- $75 a month depending on if its magenta or essentials. , and all I really get is the 15GB hotspot.
Hard pass.

I am on Magenta and after a long wait, all I got was this -
"I understand your concern. If your account is going to be affected you would have received a message. If it is not going to be affected the soc code won't make a difference. Does this make sense?"

Anyone else with 4+ lines get the $25 credit ?

I'm on the phone again with them

Rep is saying tomorrow some users will get a text with a link

Something about denying migration

There will be a selection to opt out if you are eligible to migrate

Edit: he is telling me Tmobile really loves me and cares for me
😂

If we can get a link to opt out, that's much easier.
