It depends on the engine(s) you want to start. Go with the largest you have or ride frequently or want to buy next, and add a little buffer. This think will start any 4-cylinder and most regular V6, but if you drive above 3-4 Liters V6/V8 you may want to go for the GB70 or the GBX55. The GBX series is the newer one with USB-C instead of micro USB to charge and has newer battery technology. I have the GB40 as well, and it saved me many times. I initially bought a few no names with less power and just wasted my money as they would not always start the 3.0L V6.

This thing is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have one that is probably 5 years old now and it has never failed me yet. I probably only charge it once or twice a year and keep it in my trunk year round. During the pandemic I used it once and forgot about it and left it in the trunk uncharged for about a year and half and then had to use it and it was still showing as 75% full after the next jump.

These are pretty cool. Had to get a jump by security the other day with the same or similar product. Super easy. I'm tempted but not sure I'll ever need it again.

Mine was in my trunk for a year and wouldn't hold a charge when I tried last. Was very useful when it worked, my car died suddenly at a gas station at 1am and I don't know what I would've done.

Note about these things for others is they're supposed to be recharged semi frequently as they're a lithium battery.

Autozone used one of these NOCO starters to start my car for me. Worked great.

Probably a good thing for boat owners to have on board as well. The radio can drain the battery, and its much harder to get a jump on the lake than it is on land.

That doesn't mean it can put out 1000A

Thank you for your detailed explanation. Will wait for the GBX series deal to get USB-C charging.

Bought one recently for $99 and I'm super happy with it. Jumps a 4 cylinder instantly.
