Note that according to the specs this is the lower-tier S43CG700NNXZA, vs the higher-end LS43CG702NNXZA. This has HDR10+ (NOT HDR600) and two HDMI 2.0 ports, while the 702 sports HDR600 and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports.

Actually that is incorrect. The 702 and 700 are identical models. The 700 is just a Best Buy exclusive. The only difference is that the 700 only includes a Displayport cable while the 702 includes both an HDMI and Displayport Cable. If you don't believe me, the title of the the 700 says HDR600 in it on Bestbuy.com

Not to mention compared to the 32 inch version this is severely gimped. Not comparable at all despite having the same model name. Samsung naming convention leaves a lot to be desired.

So I did ask via chat a Samsung "expert" about this monitor and though they for some reason could not confirm store-specific specs they did say it should be essentially identical to the other model. It would not be unusual for Best Buy to have ... incomplete info.

I have this monitor and I love it. I bought during a $500 sale as well. The colors are more vibrant and the contrast is better than on the other IPS panels I've seen (which do better with motion). I play games at high fps but don't really notice the blurr unless I'm swinging the view around wildly. For the money, I think it's great.

I got this at the same price during the summer prime days. I love it. I was using a 43 inch 4k tv, and by comparison this is insane. A friend of mine ordered one too and his was unable to do 144hz no matter what he tried, and RMA'ed it. Mine does 144 fine.
