Yes, because to unlock $5 off $35, you need 100 Civivi points.

When you make a purchase, they also give you more points. Plus you can get points for things like sharing on Facebook. I don't know if they still do it, but when I signed up, they gave me 100 points for my birthday. Additionally $1 spent = 1 pt. 100 points = $5 coupon

Amazon has the black stonewashed G10 for $28.50, does CIVIVI charge tax?

Also one review says the thumb hole doesn't work because of the detent being too strong including using the middle finger, can anyone comment who has gotten theirs?

I would be careful with ordering that specific one. It's not uncommon for people to try and sell knockoffs. The seller on that particular knife isn't Civivi. It's Ramazan Ali/Haniyah Store. This could be why someone is reporting a knife with a strong detent. I think I own about 15 Civivi knives and I don't recall any that having detent issues. Although not impossible, it's not normal. Additionally, ihe Odium has a flipper, so there's an alternate method for opening.

Thanks. I did find the Dark Green Micarta 2010G at Atlantic knife though, after code cyclone it was $26.55, I had been looking at some Sencuts for $25 (before code) but decided to go with this one. https://atlanticknife.com/collect...nife-2010g

Ok, if people here don't like Atlantic for some reason or you just want the G10 with a discount, try referring yourself after creating the account for $5 off.

Also, you can just use one of the many 5% off coupons such as GIZZARDGARY, I think there's one for Beez Blades but they're all 5% even if they're listed for more on one of those coupon sites.

The coupon codes do not stack with the Reward codes, the $5 for the recipient of the referral seems like it might be for a future order as I tested the link up until the Pay Now page and no $5 shows up, including non-discounted item in the cart.

When you are logged in to your account and go to the Rewards page you will see a URL where it gives the person buying the $5 off and the account referring will get another 100 points. It doesn't say anything about dollar limit for the person buying through the link so we're probably looking at $26 for the G10 and $27.20 for the Micarta ones, if it works.

I find it unlikely for there to be knock offs of this already budget knife. Not saying it's cheap as I have gone through 3 of these knives and love it. Also handled 2 more pieces of friends and can safely say, the liner lock for this model is stiffer than most other civivis. That being said, opening the knife via middle finger flick is no problem. Issue is more with closing. You can bend the liner or just take off material at the base of the liner lock

You may be surprised. There are a lot of clones out there. You will see many in the $20-30 range. I actually have bought clones before intentionally. If I showed you and you didn't know what to look for, you would think they were the real deal. Even he boxes they came in were near flawless replicas.

I have 2 versions of the odium and they both flick beautifully. If anything, the detent is lighter than I would like, resulting in half deploy using flipper tab. Reverse flick with blade cutout/hole works beautifully through.

Chicago Knife Works has some amazing deals on several Civivi models. The have both the black G10 and micarta versions for $21.05 and I don't believe they charge sales tax at least for me. The only kicker is I believe the minimum for free shipping is $100, but it's pretty easy to fill up your cart with some of the stupid good deals they have on Civivis at the moment.

That's what I did, 5 knives in total but the Civivi was the Appalachian drifter (II actually, they didn't list that) with Nitro-V for $35.09, Civivi lists it for $105 on their site. First front flipper and Nitro-V so it'll be interesting.
