Just as a point of comparison, this is currently on sale at Costco for $1,000 brand new with 2 year warranty. I had been eying it but it's not enough of an upgrade from my 3 year old 14" IdeaPad for what I do with it.

I own this machine and it is absolutely phenomenal. I run Linux on it exclusively, and I disable the GPU. Battery is...middling, but performance and form factor is incredible.

The screen is fantastic, that resolution combined with 120hz makes this thing a joy to use.

The *only* think you'll want to do is swap out the horrendous wifi card with an Intel AX210. This process is incredibly simple and takes 5 minutes to do.

I do not play games. Would I benefit from disabling the GPU when I am using windows 11?

Nobody was going to... I mean, it is a 55W 3050 to begin with. This GPU is more intended for photo/video editing.

There are a lot of concerning reviews on the one on sale at Costco. I know this comes with a 2 yr Allstate warranty. Should one be concerned with the potential issues with this laptop, don't really want to deal with issues or warranty which can sometimes be a pain. The specs look excellent and would seem like a great buy at this price
