I showed them a deal on my phone and the rep confirmed the model and price on their own device but claimed they couldn't override it. I may have had a manager with a stick up their ass but don't pretend that it's not possible.
if they won't do it call MC HQ next time. they will fix or honor it .

Go to the Customer Service desk, not the normal check out. Show them the link on your phone to retrieve the monitor. Or go get it yourself and bring to to the CS desk. Have them scan it and you be like "Oh yea, I got this email saying the price is actually $200. Can you adjust the price to that please?". That's how I got them to price match the email.

Took them a long time to even find the monitor (lunch break at 10a or some lame excuse).

Then it took them a while to get the manager to come over to adjust the price also because they were replicating the deal on their phones hoping it wouldn't (?) lol. They were all like what the hell, pretty damn cheap price lol.

I keep waiting for prices to come down on Dell's IPS 4K 32 inch screen, but am kind of tempted to bite on this given Rtings' reviews on its close relative, the 850. Giving up some in res, but it's basically two monitors for the price of one.

Picked this up yesterday and the guy I spoke with told me it was an in store only deal which is why it was showing at 299 on the web. No idea, but I didn't have any trouble getting the $199 price. It scanned as $199 at the checkout.

I ran out and bought this from my local MC last night. FWIW they had them out on the floor with the $199 price advertised, so I didn't have to do any price matching. I got it set up and tested it out, but unfortunately I'm probably going to have to return it. The text clarity just isn't good enough for my productivity work, it looks pretty dim at max brightness, and the HDR is pretty lackluster. It's probably ok if you're really on a budget and just using it for gaming, but for me I'm going to spend more for some better specs.

That's why it's a $200 monitor. Why else would it be?

When you have 32" instead of 27", and it's IPS, it's very likely going to be stretching text and lacking the clarity - just like you noticed - and the brightness is not going to be very high.

27" at 1440p is known to be the sweet spot for clarity at least. High nit monitors won't be found at $200

Yeah, I just thought it looked better on paper, but you're right, you get what you pay for with a $200 32" monitor.

At 400 nits, brightness is fine for me. Brightness is higher compared to the other 27" 144hz monitors out there at this price range.

Think it depends how far you are away from the monitor that can determine clarity. Technically yes, ppi and all that.. but ultimately it depends how far away you sit.

I'm about 3ft away from this monitor and text is clear for me. But then again I have 20/20 vision also, so that probably helps.

Just got this at the Fairfax, VA location. Did the "request price" from the item page, received the email listing it for $199. Walked into the store, showed them the email and they did an override on the price. Smooth transaction, thanks OP!

Picked 2 of these up from the last time this deal came around (they sold out quickly in Tustin, CA) and these monitors are great for productivity and gaming! They're a lot brighter and more vibrant that I expected.

Is the text clear on this monitor?
