Took them a long time to even find the monitor (lunch break at 10a or some lame excuse).
Then it took them a while to get the manager to come over to adjust the price also because they were replicating the deal on their phones hoping it wouldn't (?) lol. They were all like what the hell, pretty damn cheap price lol.

When you have 32" instead of 27", and it's IPS, it's very likely going to be stretching text and lacking the clarity - just like you noticed - and the brightness is not going to be very high.
27" at 1440p is known to be the sweet spot for clarity at least. High nit monitors won't be found at $200

Think it depends how far you are away from the monitor that can determine clarity. Technically yes, ppi and all that.. but ultimately it depends how far away you sit.
I'm about 3ft away from this monitor and text is clear for me. But then again I have 20/20 vision also, so that probably helps.
