Thanks for your experience. These look like a great deal.

I personally use those small bowls lots for single-person sauce thingies for sushi, egg rolls, spring rolls, pot stickers, etc.
I bought the "Soft Square" set about a year ago; it is a smooth white, clean-looking design. Quality seems fine, especially for the price; i.e., no warped plates, rough edges, or misapplied glaze. I like the small bowls; I put salt and pepper in the smallest ones (so each diner gets their own bowls) with small spoons; the next size is perfect for pickles, olives, and other condiments.

One soup/salad bowl arrived with a small chip on one corner; rather than return it, I decided to just order another set (which I am doing now). I can't think of when I will ever need 12 place settings, and for the price, I will just keep a few in the back of the cabinet for "extras".

In my mind, this is a great price for "casual dining" dinnerware, and those extra bowls just add a touch of class (or maybe whimsy) to the table.
I bought the Fiore via slickdeals last time. These are fine. I don't know what the other guy means by "poor quality." These are just normal ceramic bowls and plates.

I will admit there are way too many tiny bowls. I never use them.

Tiny bowls are also usually good for mise en place.

Agree they are poor quality but they are so cheap it doesn't matter.

Have had the soft square set for a few years. The plates aren't all uniform. The bases are rough so be careful with your tables. Couple of the plates have chips now.

I bought a set of these a few years ago and love them. The dishes stack nicely, so they're perfect for my small kitchen. I love all the small bowls, using them for sauces and sides. I love taking pictures of my food, so the white is perfect.

Is the ceramic thick or super thin? I passed on that Mikasa (spelling) at Costco because it seemed thin and fragile.

Terrible quality. They heat up before the food does in a microwave. They chip easily as well. These are fine otherwise just don't expect them to last long and know that these are ceramic blend of stuff.

I'm looking for ones that stack well/low profile also for a small kitchen. Which ones do you have?

I've had the soft square one for years now. I bought two sets and they've been great. No issues with them, dishwasher fine, hold up to daily use great. 👍🏼

Never really abnormally hot when microwaved like someone else mentioned. I've had plates that cost significantly more which have had more issues than these.

I'm going to back this guy up tbh. I bought a set earlier this year and there are embedded flaws (black spots) under the glaze, and a few with debris like sand captures in the glaze - so it's like having a peice of sand glued to it.

Of the whole set I think 4 peices had notable flaws. Not the end of the world, but fair to say poor quality I think. I would get something from Costco - I've seen their similar grade/style set at my parents and it is much finer quality, but still cheap (not this cheap, I admit).

I didn't return just out of laziness and how cheap they were.

EDIT: now I remember - the most annoying part was that they never responded to any support requests. If they would have just shipped me a few replacements, I'd have been fine. But you'd be naive to think anyone is listening or gives a crap back in China. You'd have to just pack it back up and return to store.
