It's a bad deal no matter how you rationalize it.
Not all SSD are created equally. Sure the basic ones are cheap, and so is the quality and data retention before those drives kick the bucket. Look up what a quality name brand M.2 SSD is going for. This is a good deal.

Many sell for higher, so if you have a 512gb and are looking to upgrade you should make out very well even accounting for ebay fees and shipping.
