Beggars don't get to choose. First, he is living off on others money and now you want luxury for him. Even I don't buy that for myself if I don't have money. You can go to any "giving/donation" center, and they will have enough for him... sorry !
What was your goal with this message? There is nothing wrong with giving someone support. You don't know what he's been through. Were you abused by your parents? He was punished by being locked up without light, food, or water for hours. He was bullied at school. He had to run away from home at age 17. He's been struggling with depression and severe anxiety, but he's trying to make something of his life. I'm not getting him a wool comforter as luxury. It's to help him survive. Winter here is harsh with lots of snow. He can barely afford to pay for his necessities (last month, he barely made his rent). Wool comforter will save him from spending money on heating and also will allow him to sleep well, which will help him both mentally and physically to get through his hardship. I hope you feel good about posting a comment like this to someone who is trying to support a friend. Very helpful.
