In part because the post originally didn't include the price in the title. Members will thumbs down simply based on incomplete information.

Also Costco deals often get more thumbs up than the same deal at other retailers because of their flexible return policy. Many people will wait for Costco over other retailers for that reason alone.

Return is valid until 31Jan 2024. Gives an opportunity to return if it comes at a better price during TG.

What is your point? This is not about what is more desirable. Costco deal was for exact same item (lightning version). It was front page deal. This deal was 2 thumbs down when I first responded.
All I'm saying is that if Costco was a good deal then so is this.

Just as an FYI Costco's return policy on AirPod pros is ( at least was as of last year ) "satisfaction" ie return after any length of time if dissatisfied with the product. Could be that's why Costco got to FP. No idea why this got a TD
