They make them for pennies and sell them at a huge markup. They threw away $30 million worth of Pops earlier this year because it's cheaper to make them than warehouse them. Anything they sell here is getting them revenue.

I was at 2nd and Charles yesterday (the biggest B&M Funko seller I've ever seen) and about 30% of all of them were in the clearance section, all around $5.

I marvel at their ability to build a Pop for everything. Half of it I've never heard of. This company says "no" to absolutely nothing. They may be cheap to make, but those molds and designs require a little work.

I wish Gordon Ramsay did a "Toymaker Nightmares" show

jeez, I couldn't even start to write a comment without getting rid of the popups on SD. Anyways.....I bought more than few of these. Ppl saying $5 is too much aren't really thinking about how these "cheap pieces of plastic" get to a US warehouse or store. All of these come from CHINA. Figure it out. FWIW, I do wait until they drop to this price, most of the time. There are figures that I would like that do not go down in price, sooooooo.... But the demon unicorn from Shazam II is too cool, along with Elle from Legally Blond in a Bunny Costume. They were a just a couple I ran across that I have no problem throwing $5 at. Amazon is slashing toy prices like mad, not just on Pops!. I think they are clearing out the warehouses for the Xmas stock's arrival.

Most of the pops I've bought recently have arrived in their original shipping box, inside a box. And I haven't had any that were crushed, but figures are another story.

Heads up, the Art Series Sally is $4.99 and has a hard protector. The hard protector alone retails for ~$9, I tend to take out the pop and use the protector for some of my more valuable pops. You can also get $0.75 no rush credits for each of them ($3 max per transaction)
