There is no White Castle near where I live. Plus I think if you get them fresh and freeze them , they are not the same. These are to satisfy the late night comfort food cravings
Remember this is a BOGO deal so for $4.50 (no cheese) or $4.99 with cheese you are getting 8 (there's the 10% off coupon)
I am getting 4 boxes for $10 (granted chicken is a little more) but that is 16 (8 chicken and 8 cheese sliders) - plus to sweeten the deal I am using rewards from the Oral B Walgreens deal
I have a water spray bottle , I use it to spray bagels usually before I put in toaster - for these I spray both sides of the roll , put it in toaster oven for a little and microwave the meat - adding extra onion or onion flakes (if I dont have onion) and pickles and even tomatoes if I have handy - ideally I would steam these but its too much work
Wrap in wet, but not dripping wet paper towel.
Microwave for 40 sec w/ sliders upside down.
Take them out, flip them right side up.
Take the top bun off, add pickles......I found that Tukas Cucumbers (made in Turkey and found in middle eastern groceries) have the closest flavor to White Castle Pickles.
Wrap back up again
Nuke for 30-40 more seconds.
Wait 30 seconds before unwrapping them.
That will get you really close to not fresh, but perhaps "warmed up fresh" slider taste.

I prefer to toast the buns because microwaves always ruin bread, even wrapping in a wet paper towel (which sometimes sticks to the bread) - I always spray the bread with water before toasting so it stays softer and does not brown as much
the chicken ones slap with this method
