I've got two of these, both bought on sale but at a higher price than this deal. This is the best tool I've found for dandelions and the like. I was just out in the yard earlier using it, as a matter of fact. Liked it so much that I got the wife one for herself so we hit them weeds twice as fast. It *almost* makes it enjoyable Wink and definitely saves your back from those handheld ones you gotta get on your knees to use (though those do have a use, too). Have had people walking by the front yard ask me about it often. I should get a commission by now! Wink

I don't need a third but just commenting to share my experience.

Tip: I've found the weeds come out easiest when soil is a bit wet. I'm in Pacific Northwest, if that matters any.

EDIT: I checked and the last one I bought was actually at $22.33 on Jan. 2020. Likely also on a SD. The first one was at around $44.

perfect tool for dandelions. Skip those non chinese brand, even if its made with steel. The four prong version has better grip and easier to pull out the weed. You can also trust Fiskar CS service.

I got it a month ago. Pretty cool, but also a little annoying at times. It works well if it is aimed well, but it can be difficult to aim if it is in thicker foliage like in a garden. You sort of have to look from the side to make sure the tines are around the stem.

I still like it, but I'd like it much more if they rotated the tines 45 degrees so you could look over the top at what you are doing rather than looking through the side.

They have a lot of breaks in the reviews which makes sense as you could exert a lot of leverage on the plastic arm. Fiskars seems to be good about replacing them.

Not a good tool, IMO. You just end up with a big hole and exposed dandelion root, from which it will grow right back. You can get a good hori hori knife that produces better results for less than this.

Good tool, but like others have said you gotta get it just right. I've used this on pokeweed (so it's pretty effective), and my 5yo can work it as well.
