I have this and it's fantastic. I use it frequently on my riding mower, gorilla cart, utility trailer, and topping up the pressure on car tires. I have a compressor in my garage with a retractable reel and a digital inflator, but this is WAY easier, especially when the tire needing inflation isn't right near the garage.

If you're not in a rush, every so often DTO sells the factory blemished version of this inflator by itself for $29. Last time I bought 5 and gave them out as gifts to family members. We keep one of these in every vehicle sans the battery. Works just fine with the cigarette lighter adapter.

This is misinformation. Ridgid specifically includes a ball inflation needle and a plastic adapter to blow up pool toys and the like. It's a high-pressure low-volume pump, so it will take a long time. It also includes a Schrader to Presta adapter.

The mini jobsite blower will fill a tube up very fast. It will do an air mattress as well and includes adapters.

Anyone have a comparison of this vs the Ryobi one?
This one is better. Check out project farm's comparison on inflators.

Ryobi review starts at 3:44 followed by Rigid @ 5:08. Summary at end of video

https://youtu.be/kWNYjkh-JyI?si=WfElcAYsZeYMfktw

Ryobi is still very good. I have the Ryobi.

I have the ryobi and this one. For airing up pool toys etc I use the ryobi. But I always always use the rigid for airing up car tires. I've tested both units on different tires aired down to the same level and the rigid is twice as fast as the ryobi. Both using 4ah batteries. My brother in law has the Milwaukee since he is in the ecosystem and it's quicker and runs cooler than the rigid. But then again his was almost twice this price. Should have no regrets on this deal if you want to air up tires.

I just bought it at the $80 price Smilie With my military discount at HD, it was $76 with taxes.

I have many Ridgid tools (some over 20 years) and all of them perform flawlessly. I've use the LSA once. That was to replace the pad on my ROS.

Exact thing here. I like not having to move the compressor hose and all that..
Or moving the things needing inflation to within the hose reach. Wink

I have an 80 gallon compressor in my shop with a reel and one of those coily 'cords'. Works great in the shop. Everything else has to be moved to/brought to the shop.

Definite buy at this price Smilie

Can you buy attachments to allow this to blow up a tubing tube? We have a giant t tube we tow the kids on and inflating is annoying this would make it a lot faster if this can be used for that

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWNYjkh-JyI. Ridgid is top 3 in many (all?) of the tests for speed. I own the Ryobi as I'm in invested in that ecosystem and have no complaints.
'Therein lies the problem' Smilie An old truism but yeah, once you invest $$$ in a particular brand, you are pretty much with them forever.

I am on the Ridgid train btw, mostly due to their LSA

I just bought it. Thanks for your review. As I own many Ridgid products, I have a boatload of batteries. The 2ah is just a bonus to me as I use them on smaller tools.

If you're blowing up a tubing tube, the cheapest and quickest option is a 12v inflator. You can plug it into your boat, you can plug it into your car, and you can even get a 110v adapter for $10 on Amazon so that you could power that with a wall outlet. It will pump up your tube much quicker than a tire inflator like this, and you won't need to schlep around plastic adapters to step up this inflator's tiny jack to the large receptacle on your tube.

This one works well, no complaints at all from me.
I own this too and I agree wholeheartedly. I got a flat last week and, when I pulled my doughnut out of my trunk, I realized (by testing it with this inflator) that it had about 5 psi, which was 55 psi fewer than what it should have been. This inflator refilled my doughnut in about 2 or 3 minutes. I had a 2.0 AH battery, fully charged, and I only lost one bar of power. Plus, 60 psi is pretty high but it handled it like a champ. I wouldn't top off a semi tire with this inflator, but it does great for my Escape, minivan, Cub Cadet, and yard cart.

As posted every time this comes up: junk.

Too loud, gets overheated, can't blow anything up before you have to wait for it to cool.

Unbuyable at any price
