I found two stored all the way up the top shelf in the nailing aisle

Will the home Depot show the discounted price? I was at a home Depot just now and they had 3 in stock. Brickseek and the home Depot app so showed full price. I used the scan feature in the home Depot app. I'm wondering if I take the item to the register if it will ring up the discounted price?

I would expect full price if brickseek is also showing full price. There is 1 store showing clearance with 2 in stock near-ish to me... I'm taking that as 2 were stolen since their last count and not wasting my time later.

Probably not, unless it was on the clearance shelf at your store or brickseek indicated it was on clearance at that store.

I had a picture of the barcode, asked the cashier to do a price scan. Once clearance price was confirmed I got a worker to bring down the nailers for purchase.

Not necessarily. Plenty of stores near me showing them in stock and on clearance, and they actually have them in store, but they ring up at $284.06....not quite sub $100 😂 Northeast USA. Could just be that the clearance price in your area isn't low enough to have enticed anyone yet

Great deal if you got one. The HD's in my area are cleaned out. They're already popping up on Facebook Marketplace and Offerup. Could always buy it from there for a little more and ask for a copy of the receipt for the off chance you need warranty service maybe?
I literally just bought one of these a few weeks ago. First battery framing nailer but I researched the heck out of this, the latest Dewalt, and the Paslode. I chose this one. I bought Paslode nails and my only complaint (other than the non-extended tray... and yes, I know I can buy an extension but the Dewalt COMES with one) is that the nailer will not shoot the nails with only 5 or 6 left in the bunch. I haven't played around too much and do not know if I put another pack in behind the mostly depleated pack, if it would be business as usual.
Also, I had to decrease the tension from out-of-the-box settings as it was put the nail about 2/3 in to my kiln dried 2 x 4's.
I do like it, it is heavy (before a battery) so keep that in mind. One thing I REALLY like is how quickly this one will do rapid fire nails and you do not hear a motor winding up like you do with the Dewalt (the biggest reason I went with this).

In my milwaukee warranty service (just once) I didn't need to show my receipt. The date of manufacture from serial number suffices. That said, you may miss a few months warranty discrepancy between manufacture and sale if you don't have a receipt.
