Walmart.com keeps cancelling my orders and won't tell me why. Any suggestions?

This is so incredibly annoying and I'm almost ready to give up on them but would love to hear suggestions on how to deal with it.

Walmart cancels all of my online orders (for pickup in store) about ten minutes after placing it. Their email says there is suspicious activity / fraud prevention and they say to try again and it gets the same result. After three tries, I called them and they said they would send a note to the fraud prevention team to let it go through and try again after five hours. I waited six and once again, they cancelled overnight.
I called again and they said they'd send a ticket to fraud prevention. They refuse to tell me anything.

I've wasted an hour on the phone and have a headache from the stress.

How are you supposed to solve a problem if you don't know what the problem is if Walmart keeps it a secret!!! What a bunch of *$@%!

That sucks. Have you checked your financial data to ensure there haven't been any issues? I would order from Target or Amazon instead. They have better customer service. Amazon kept cancelling a gift card I'd recently ordered and finally CS called me to make sure I had actually authorized it. I didn't answer and instead called them back at their trusted number of course. No problems after that.

Thanks, I was trying to use Paypal (for the 5% cashback via one of my credit cards) and Paypal's address matches the Walmart one. Dunno if it's related but they also won't let me renew my Walmart+ membership. They always pester me to renew, but when I accept, it says there's a problem and try again later. Tried with Paypal and also a credit card that they had on file for other purchases so surely they trust it. Oh and the 1st time I renewed Walmart+ about 1.5 years ago, it kept failing in the same way 'problem, try later'. But after a dozen attempts with diff credit cards it went through. Their system really doesn't trust me. It's very strange. And these are all for delivery to home or pick up in store, not to some empty house. You'd think they'd trust locations where a cop can be sent if it's fraud.

To their credit, 1st level Walmart voice support were friendly and seemed to be quick to understand the issue but their fraud dept told me to stop shopping on their web and go directly to their store instead, which is a problem because one product I was ordering, was delivery-only (sold by Walmart, but is not in the store). The other is store pickup but to get Paypal benefit I wanted to pay on their web site.

That's crazy, they should have told you to shop at Target! Be sure to go down aisle 116K, they are having a sale on Puffs plus with lotion. Stock up now with an extra huge box!

I wonder if it's not a card that's setting them off but maybe someone else with your name is on their fraud list? Other than writing corporate - which might work - you could try @WalmartHelp on Twitter. They're pretty good about responding to issues but it's unclear how helpful they are.

Thank you for the suggestion. Oh and I tried Paypal on Gamestop.com and it worked fine for a $5 game but they also cancelled for possible fraud when I tried to order the same thing (Sony Playstation 5). So maybe PS5+Paypal=cancel? I hate guessing though. It's very rude of a company to delete an order and not tell you why. How do they expect a problem to be solved if it's kept a secret? Grrrrrrrrr

Any issue with your saved payment methods? I read on reddit that you can try deleting all payment methods and use a new payment method?

Interesting. Thank you. I was using a new method (Paypal- to get a cashback) but I have three credit cards saved on their site.
