1. At first I had to figure out how to get my work email to play with Samsung.com. My company has access to Perks At Work, but I was signed into my own personal acct in Samsung.com. I created a new Samsung.com acct with my work email and it immediately noticed my work and gave me workplace related discounts.
2. I tried doing everything on a desktop browser and was seeing work related discounts but not all of the ones that others were seeing. Chat wasn't helpful and said there weren't any promo codes to be had.
3. I noticed others commenting to use the Shop Samsung app, so I did. I didn't immediately notice additional discounts UNTIL I actually clicked all the way through to "Checkout". Additional discounts show up on the final page. Also, I noticed that some of the links take you to a "pre configured" page which automatically adds the item to the cart, doesnt allow for trade in, and is a higher price. You need to go to the main selection page that lets you add the trade in, decline protection, etc ,to get the full discount in the cart at the end of checkout.
4. I ran a bunch of different permutations and was able to replicate (all with trade in of Watch 4) the $61.91 for Watch 5 44mm LTE, $111.55 for Watch 6 44m BT, $152.99 for Watch 5 Pro 45 mm BT, and $178.49 for Watch 6 Classic 47mm BT, before tax. Screenshots below.
5. Then I had to decide what to upgrade to. After some online research of the different models, I ended up choosing the Watch 5 Pro, because it fixes the major issues I have with my Watch 4 - The 5 Pro has the biggest battery of all the models, titanium shell for weight and ruggedness, and dual GPS. I like having my watch all day, but especially when outdoors hiking, biking, etc. The 5 Pro is the only one that has GPX track capabilities built in, which I already utilize on my phone when outdoors. The Watch 4 also never lasted a good day with GPS on, and barely lasted a day of use with everything turned off. I really wanted the rotating bezel of the 6 Classic, but the bigger battery of the 5 Pro won out. Interesting thing I did notice is that the Watch 5 Pro WITH the new D Band was SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive, I think it came out to $225 before tax and after trade in. By comparison, changing to the dual color sport band, I was able to get the price to the aforementioned $152.99. Just keep that in mind.

Most of the previous posts show people getting the 40mm of the watch 6 with active 2 trade in.
I decided to get the 44mm watch 6.
I have the regular watch 4 currently but I'm doing a watch 4 classic trade in because the trade in for the watch 4 classic was higher at $200 vs $125 for the regular watch 4 trade in. I was able to pick up the watch 4 classic off of eBay for $60 so that nets me $15 over the regular watch 4 trade in. I can easily sell the regular watch 4 for $50-$75 on FB marketplace. Plus instant $30 credit and the first responder discount, plus the additional $25 discount by chatting at checkout. Feel like I got a pretty good deal.

To be clear, it's not a Digits Plan. Beware that there are some Customer Support folks that will adamantly tell customers there's no such plan but it's complete ignorance on their part.
All Tmobile needed was the IMEI and the ICCID (esim serial).
If you're interested in getting the plan, just go to the tmobile reddit channel and ask for the plan code. Typically, an employee will give you the plan code and that's what you tell Customer Support when you add the line.
Good luck!
Add everything to your cart, go to check out and click on the chat icon. Then of the option in the chat select the option for questions about discounts. I basically said I was interested in the watch but it was still a little too expensive and if they would help out with a discount. They ask for your name, email and what watch you want and if there is a trade in. Then they give a link to a cart with the discount.
Make sure to add the edu/gov/first responder discount before you check out, apparently the chat agent can't add it.
They wait until you check out, I guess they get some sort of commission. The second agent was very pushy in trying me to complete the sale. The third agent said I had 72 before the link expired.
