Yeah, like I said, it makes sense IF you have the money to blow and isn't ideal for most players. The best thing to do is to consult with a pro who is experienced with club fitting, and use their advice when deciding whether to go custom or what to buy off the shelf. .
Most (all?) major brands offer a variety of custom options at no additional cost. Adjustments to length/lie/loft are usually all free when done as part of the purchase. PING offers 9 different shaft options with their G430 irons at no additional cost. 7 different options with their G430 driver at no additional cost. It is only when you go beyond those options that costs begin to skyrocket.

So if you are buying new, always get fitted as there are a lot of custom options included for the "off the shelf" price. But retailers are happy to sell you whatever they have on their shelf.

Eh, but if he's actually at 112-115 driver club head speed, a 180y 7i is definitely possible without jacked lofts
My 7i is at 30 degrees so a little strong but nothing crazy.

Unless you're breaking 80 consistently, buy lost golf balls lol.

Whatever, I'm not going to argue with you about this any more.

Code only works on golf galaxy website, will not work on dicks.com even though you can pick it up there lol.
But you still get Dick's points even though the order has to be made on GG to use the coupon code

I play these for the price but it's not a Pro V1 rival like MGS would have you believe. They are a good 10 yards shorter for me and (I've play the Tour and Tour X) do not feel near as good. That said, these are great for $25 a dozen and I would absolutely recommend them to the average budget conscious golfer.
It's not just MGS... Take a look at TXG on Youtube
