There's a lot of people talking trash in these comments that haven't actually used this style of cloth. I got a big pack when my kiddo was born (now 2 years old) and they are super absorbent. I don't know how to explain the material, its like a plush stuffed animal's fur.
I always kept them nearby for diaper changes and they quickly picked up all the pee if we ever had a mid-change accident. Now we use them for bath time body washing, and for general snacking wipes (leave on in each corner of the house).
I just ordered another set because they are really useful for anything as long as you don't need a large rag. They've all help up well over 2 years even after multiple washes.
I don't know what brand I ordered in the past (probably another amazon off-brand), but these appear to be the exact same material in review photos.
These are made out of 100% polyester fleece yet the title says "extra absorbent". How can these be absorbent if they are polyester?
How are microfiber towels absorbent? They are made of very, very thin fibers — up to 100 times finer than a human hair — come together to give each cloth a much higher surface area, which boosts its cleaning power and makes it a lot more absorbent than your average rag.
Are these really good for newborns/ infants? I got the big pack of cotton ones from Costco. We use some as wash cloths and some as burp cloths. But they aren't very soft even though they're 100% cotton.
But I weary of using 100% polyester stuff.
Dont forget its "Amazon" reviews......everyone knows first 1000 to 1500 reviews are fake...
Generally I would agree with that but I tend to take a chance when there are so many. It's hard to fake over 2,000 reviews. Besides, for this price I'm thinking like for bidet drying or something if nothing else.

Your bidet does not air dry?

Microfibre towels are absorbent because they have a composition of included Polyamide (a least the decent and passable quality ones do—ideally 10-30%) that also aids in absorption.
As the previous poster mentioned…these 100% polyester ones would not be a good choice for the intended purpose.

All my microfiber towels suck out of the box. They're the opposite of absorbant, they're hydrophobic until you work in the water which is kinda lame

Yeah, no. Polyester is the exact opposite of absorbent. That's why it doesn't stain easily - because water doesn't get into the fibers.

The amount of hand wringing over $6 in this thread is exhausting. Good lord, even if you used them as rags it would be worth it. Paper towels cost 3x as much.
