If you got the 2022 Christmas set (Holiday Main Street [lego.com]) then that trolley is compatible with the tracks in this set, however the christmas set did not come with the motor (or some other parts) to wire the trolley car.
I'm not very excited by this train set in particular, but it contains the right motor for the Holiday Main Street, a neat controller, and a ton of track. Motorizing Holiday Main Street separately will cost you $50 for the motor [lego.com] Plus probably $60 in track [lego.com] (I can't remember if I bought 3 or 4 track sets). To motorize Holiday Main street per the Lego instructions, you also need and additional cable (to run the wheels) and a light set (to light up the train).
Actually, I think I might just pull the trigger on this because these extra parts look fun. This also gives you a nice controller for the PoweredUp set.
If people are like "wha?? $50 for a dumb thing that holds 6 AAA batteries?" - I can't really disagree, but will point out that the power hub is more than just a little battery compartment. It has some bluetooth communications and you can connect it to the PoweredUp app for a phone which lets you run forwards / backwards / at variable speeds / and independently control lights.

edit The Express Passenger 60337 [amazon.com] is 31% at $132. While it has less track 60205 [amazon.com] and 60238 [amazon.com] would solve that - for those who need more track, and include lights!

Wasn't the 60337 $152 from Amazon as the seller (not a 3rd party) yesterday vs $135 from a 3rd party seller who had mediocre reviews? The 3rd party seller triggered my triple camels price alert but it appears to be gone now. Regardless, triple camels doesn't seem to have the correct Amazon as the seller price history. Does anyone know if $152 a good price for 60337?
It's been alternating between 152 and 161 depending if it's 15 or 20% off. Currently 161 at target I believe. Usually doesn't get better than 20% off in my limited time watching
