Nice price for this set. My son absolutely loves this set and I love that Lego brought back minifig designs from the old Castle sets that I had when I was growing up. Would definitely buy at this price.

IMO much better value than the larger $400 castle; on its own it's a great little castle set, let alone the combos if you do buy 2 or 3 sets

I bought 3 the last time it was on sale for $80 because of MOCs (my own creation - alternate builds that often times you can find instructions for online) that use multiple sets.

I can't imagine this could go cheaper. 10 cents/piece is generally regarded as "normal" price for LEGO. At $80 this is 5.6 cents per piece - a steal for LEGO, especially a set that is highly regarded (as opposed to say, Avatar 2 sets that just didn't sell well).

We are getting a Medieval Market next spring around 3K pieces that goes with the lion knights castle not this one.

Goes with meaning it'd prob display better with the other castle. 3k pieces for a market next to a "budget" sized castle may look kinda silly, right? Then again maybe there's a socially conscious royal family in there and they invested in town infrastructure rather than a frivolous castle?


I got this set and just grabbed a wizard minifig from ebay Smilie I'd love to try that triple build but I don't display my Legos they get put away Frown no room.
