$50 off MSRP and cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Picked one up. It's fairly decent other than issues I've noticed with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band switching. My phone never leaves the 2.4Ghz band. This router was just released. For $250 I couldn't find anything with better specs. No third party firmware support as far as I'm aware, likely never will. Has enough out of the box feature support for me though.

It's been $204 not that long ago at Walmart... This is the MSRP price.

Pretty slow speeds if you ask me. Not many devices have full support for 6GHz
2.4GHz - 574 Mbps
5GHz - 2880 Mbps
6GHz - 5760 Mbps

I just looked into this. Previous poster is correct, this is MSRP.
This is a Walmart exclusive model. It's cheaper because not all of the ports are 2.5gb.

Check amazon or anywhere else it's $299. All the LAN ports are 2.5gb on those. I didn't dig to see if there are any other differences.

Don't really care if this is MSRP for the Wal-Mart model or not. Had no idea until this thread that there was a different model that cuts out features I don't really need for less. Thanks OP!

Wasn't this like $700 at launch? I've had bad experiences with the TP-Link AX11000...gonna avoid TP-Link for now. So now I just wait for Asus to release their wifi 7 router and it goes on sale lol

No that was the higher end Quad Band with 10gbps ports, this is the gimped but still powerful tri band with 2.5gbps ports. Overall still an excellent price for a wifi 7 router, and honestly showed up quicker than I expected, I didnt expect anything near the $200 mark till mid next year. Tp-Link trying to capture the market.

I have an AX6000 that has been rock solid. I have not once had to restart it for any type of issue in the 2+ years that I have been using it.

The 2.4ghz on mine is trash. Max of 10mb/s. I need that band for certain security devices (smoke detector, cameras, printer, etc). I have the Deco system as well which luckily transmits a 2.4ghz band, so I just disable it on my router.

I swore I'd never go TP-Link again.

I wouldn't buy a TPLink product unless it's a model with OpenWRT support. They don't support their products very well which is part of why they are cheap. Plus I don't really trust their firmware in general.

Every time I turn around, the Wi-Fi version goes up another. At this rate they'll be at 25 by next Christmas. I had no idea 7 was out.
