Anyone have this jacket and can comment on durability? This is single layer and packable, right? Just a bit worried that the waterproof coating will wear out in moderate rain.

I snagged a similar Columbia jacket, the Watertight II [columbia.com], for just $22 at an outlet last year. It's in the same price bracket and did a solid job through California's rainy season. Impressively, the waterproofing is still holding up!

This Pouration jacket has armpit zippers, a feature I've come to appreciate on my North Face rain jacket since rain jackets get steamy when zipped up after a little bit of activity.
