My hover 1 with huge pack 20+ miles is about to die and it's only been 2 years. I still use it but I bought the Walmart warranty so I'll be using it before it's up.

Some companies like to false presenting their numbers to draw attraction or customers.
In general, larger tires are less affected by rocks and debris, but I'm not sure there's a big difference between 8.5" air-filled tires vs 10" solid tires.
As for lower risk of fire - I'm not an expert, so consult one before making any decisions like this.
Some general info: Avoid storing lithium-ion batteries together and keep a distance of at least 2 feet between them. Store the batteries away from anything that can catch fire easily. Don't charge right after riding, instead wait 30 minutes.
