How About This For The PS4 ?
Assuming you were referring to PS5? It is rated too slow. From a PCMag, "The sequential read speed of the drive needs to be at least 5,500MB/s".

That's not even the problem. PS5 requires PCIE gen 4 drives, but it still works with slower than 5500 MB/s even if not officially supported.

Just a heads up I was looking at buying this drive the other day, it's TBW is pretty low. At 800TB, while it sounds high its only filling the drive 200 times. It wasn't enough for my needs, but maybe you'll be alright with it.

Edit

By comparison Samsung does 1200-1500 or so. I went with an WD red with 5100 TBW rated.. I need mine for 8k video footage cache and editing. The WD is slower though..

In my experience, Crucial is way too optimistic about their TBW rating. They'll die much sooner than that.

It's a QLC drive so TBW is expected to be low. But I agree that buying WD 850x for ~$200-250 is a much better investment. Also I think the prices will continue to fall since Gen 5 is slowly taking over.

Black Friday deals will likely start the first week of November for the whole month. Cyber Monday seems a bit tempting..... possibly
