GoldToe changed ownership many years back and the quality and materials went wayyyy downhill. I still use some pairs of original GoldToe from before the change, but all my new pairs have either fallen apart or been thrown away because of scratchy, thin material.

I personally bought these a couple months ago and they are unlike any other non-cotton socks I've bought before. They are incredibly comfortable and do not make your feet sweat like other synthetic material socks do. I own cotton socks also and these are on par with them.

i agree. goldtoe is just a name that some ppl seem to have an association w quality. i gave them a try and was dissapointed.

That's straight up wrong.
On a side note Costco no longer sells Kirkland Signature dress socks (which were the best dress socks I've worn to date) and the Tommy Bahama ones that they currently sell are more expensive and less comfortable then these. Tried and tested.

I have noticed more and more Kirkland brand items vanishing. Which is a shame, because Kirkland is one of the few brands I still associate with quality.

Agreed. When GoldToe stopped making underwear. I now shop with DarnTough and BuckBaked.
