It's due to the filter, not the actual vacuum itself. Your best bet is a shop vac, with proper filter, for grill ash.

when you click on the url it takes you to an amazon page that shows 2 models I own the larger dewalt vacuum and it can blow when you reverse the inlets I do not however own the smaller vacuum so I cannot say about that one. The larger one however is an excellent portable vacuum

If you are comparing it to dyson stick vacuums , those probably hit 40-70 cfms depending on model and if max mode is used.

I have a milwaukee fuel m12 vac with similiar mid 40s cfm. I like it but its bulky. I'm considering getting this vacuum too. It's a lot cheaper than a dyson stick vac though less performant compared to the top models.

Fully agree. I made the mistake of buying the largest shop vac instead of the smallest and this was my poor attempt to correct it -- the battery is so convenient

I'm gonna pickup a rigid 3.5g that's shaped like a toolbox. Just learned you can use bags in all those things which will be perfect for cleaning ash and dust!

The 18v bosch/ryobi etc are portable enough for car etc and are wet/dry (and I assume more powerful). I don't see where this has an advantage? Looking for an excuse to buy this when I have ryobi in box (and a dyson cordless). really dont need this... but for some reason..

Not sure of your use case, but I use this in my office for my PC, blowing our hairs, dust, etc. I've used it a lot more than I thought I would.

It's great for the car as well to blow out all the crap and then I use my dewalt shop vac for actual vacuuming (it has a blow/suck on it).
