In for 1, got for my 19 year old son who seems to always get his cheap non-leather Reebok running shoes wet whenever it rains. I'm going to make him wear these on raining days. Can't go wrong for $24. Thanks OP.

This trash is not going to last, especially laces hooks and sole gluing. Just look something else using keyword like "work boots" or "industrial boots".

You could get adidas "superstar 82" for this money just fey days back https://slickdeals.net/f/16997632-adidas-men-s-superstar-82-shoes-white-25-92-free-shipping which was a great deal for enhanced "regular superstar" model, but this boots I don't believe is a good deal.

Huh.
10 percent were 3 star
5 percent were 2 star
6 percent were 1 star

21 percent is a third of something?

Math much? 21% are 1, 2 or 3 star... and 60% are 5 star. Given over 3000 reviews it's not review packing either. 4.2 star average

I don't own a pair, but Nortiv have generally been considered one of the better 'bargain' boot brands out there (Merrell and Asolo guy here for full disclosure).

It sounds like you don't know how 5-star reviews are acquired on Amazon LOL

Uh oh ... you are having a problem with the "container" or with the "content"?
The idea ("content") is that the reviews are SUPER BAD
I'm having a problem with the "container" and the "content".

The idea "content" that 80% reviews being 4 or 5 stars is "SUPER BAD" is ridiculous.

you did not factor in the mostly fake reviews on Amazon.

Look... I understand the Amazon fake review game... but there are some independent reviews in some of the outdoor and travel magazines and the products are reasonably well liked. Also, most of the fake brands haven't survived as long as Nortiv and don't have this volume of reviews.

I'm not suggesting you buy them, I'm just suggesting that the math provided was more than a bit off.

I've tried them personally. Not great, first pair ran so small I couldn't get them on to even try. Second pair is "waterproof" but isn't even remotely waterproof, and not very comfortable. They look okay and seem to be made of better materials than trash you see at Walmart, but I would not buy them again. My mistake, not just getting another pair of Keens or Merrells. They go on sale enough, especially with the Merrell deals that pop up here a lot.
