It's the only time in 25 years of buying stuff online I've had to dispute a charge with my credit card.
Sure, any company can make a mistake, but the handled it in the worst way and were downright hostile towards their customers.
Caveat emptor.

I ordered this one from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B7H5DMV
And everything works perfectly now.
The problem apparently that comes up with the non-regulated hoses is that full pressure propane likes to extract oil from the rubber hose, and that is what you are adding a filter for. Reduce the pressure with a regulator and the problem disappears. And those adapter hoses have valves that don't always open enough for medium and high settings. The quick connect adapter solves that problem. Any regulated quick connect propane hose should work great. Anything else is the wrong solution.
