About this deal:
This is $20lower (40% savings) than the $49.97 list price.
I was hoping this was a headlight. instead of a pivoting head light.
Just my opinion but I feel this Ruobi 4V stuff is way over priced, I cal it their toy line. I'll wait until the prices are ore realistic because there is nothing I really "need", it's more of a "want" on a couple of their items.
Thank you, been waiting for this sale. In for one!
ETA: The flip light and older style flashlight are both also $30. All the prices seem to match the expected black friday pricing.
RYOBI introduces the USB Lithium 2Ah Lithium Rechargeable Battery. Providing convenience on-the-go, this battery will charge your small portable devices like your phone or smart watch. The on-board LED fuel gauge takes away the guess work by clearly indicating the battery level status. This battery features a USB-C charging port for easy charging with any USB-C cable. This battery is easily interchangeable across all USB Lithium products for cordless portability and minimal downtime.
Battery alone MRSP is $24.95, don't forget another 10% off if you're a Vet at HD so why not.

I have a million 18V Ryobi tools, but none of these small tools/batteries yet.
Also, I am a flashlight addict... so might as well try this one out.
I see some of the pics show 3 Ah batteries, and some show 2 Ah... but the descriptions all say 2 Ah.
Don't be fooled into thinking that this flashlight is part of their usual tool ecosystem. Most of their tools are either 18V or 40V. This is a 4V battery that won't fit into any of their other tools. I don't know about you, but I find that having multiple tools that take incompatible batteries is a royal pain in the butt. You need multiple batteries and chargers.
They specifically said Ryobi USB system so I believe they understand the differences.

My guess is if you use a USB-C to USB-C cable or USB-C to Lightning cable.
