Is this suggesting that the new QC model (bottom one) will be on sale for $219 or it's website glitch?

Would make sense sense since the new QC model just dropped to $249 at Best Buy.

I just bought some cheap knockoff foam replacments and covers from Amazon. Just do a search, you'll get a ton of hits.

I replaced my qc35 cushions about 2 years ago for $15...very easy to do!

I've had my qc35s for about 9 years now...say what you want, but Bose def had a winner in that product. The AAA battery lasts forever, and even if it does run out, you can still use the headset as regular headphones (as long as you are plugged into a headphone jack).
Same same here! Gf has upgraded hers a few times along the way but I've just never felt the need, despite 4-5 flights a year to Asia with 9-hour+ legs.

I ended up taking my gf's set when she upgraded because I fell asleep with mine on while on my side and I guess the 3 hours of pressure broke something on one side because it cuts out if I apply any pressure to it or move my head too much. Maybe a loose connnection? Been meaning to open it up and have a look.

I like sony xm sound but nowhere close to comfort level of qc 45. After trying out both, i settled with 35-2 and have been sticking w bose since. Until Sony can figure out a way to make a lighter more comfortable headphone with the sony sound signature, i will stick w bose.

+1

I've owned and returned / sold two versions of the Sony's.

The QC's build, sound, and ANC quality is not as good... but the comfort wins out hands down.

I could never wear the Sony's more than ~30 minutes at a time. They are heavy, made my ears / face hot, and the clamping force (after adjustments) was simply too high. I really wanted to like/keep the Sony's but they were uncomfortable for me to wear for any length of time.

I'm not normally a fan of Bose, but the QC's are my goto when I need the convenience of closed cup *WIRELESS* headphones.

Now for serious music listening, I reach for my my wired Sennheisers or HIFImans every time. *NO* wireless headphones can compete with decent wired headpones (at even half the price) when it comes to fidelity, sound quality, sound stage, etc. The power budget is simply not available for wireless headphones / earbuds. And the more they try to compenstate with larger batteries, the more comfort suffers.
